In March 2024, we started surplus food collections on Sundays at Borough Market. Because the market is closed on Mondays, there should be a lot of food available that charities can make use of.
We are very grateful for the support we receive from the market’s management team and the traders who very generously donate their surplus food. It’s a wonderful partnership and a very rewarding experience for our volunteers, who kindly give up their time to help reduce waste and provide food for charities that can benefit from it.
